FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based out of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. I'm more than happy to travel to the other islands and kindly request one roundtrip airfare.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 10-14 days (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
Every session is unique so I don't really like to limit the amount of photos but I'm definitely not stingy. For a family session you can expect to receive a minimum of 60 photos and for each wedding hour about 80-ish photos.
Do you release the raw photos?
Unfortunately I do not. Raw, unedited photos are not a clear representation of my style and work. A lot of work goes into perfecting each image with post processing to create the work you see featured in my portfolio.
Why do you only shoot sessions at sunrise or sunset ?
The hour during sunrise and later during sunset when the sun is low in the sky, is when the sun produces the most flattering light. Sunrise sessions typically produce images with blue skies and uncrowded beaches while sunset sessions produce warm, golden images. Mid-day light is directly overhead, harsh, and unflattering.
Sometimes the early or late start times may not be ideal for little ones but I'll prepare you with some tips and tricks to ensure a smooth session for everyone!
